01Regional Technologies Advancing Translation and Equity Core

Closing technology gaps in diabetes prevention and care

The program supports exploratory, feasibility, and formative studies that identify gaps in technological capabilities and barriers to equitable adoption of diabetes technologies. Funding generates preliminary data for a subsequent NIDDK or other external application. Projects should align with T2–T4 translation research on diabetes, its complications, prediabetes or metabolic syndrome, or obesity.
