Erin Ferranti receives American Heart Association healthcare volunteer award

Congratulations to Erin Ferranti, PhD, MPH, RN, FAHA, on receiving the Congratulations to the American Heart Association’s Healthcare Volunteer of the Year GCDTR's and EGDRC's, Dr. Ferranti. Ferranti is a public health nurse and cardiometabolic researcher whose work focuses on the gut microbiome and dietary strategies to reduce cardiometabolic risk in women of childbearing age—especially those impacted by complications during pregnancy.

She will be honored at the AHA’s National Volunteer Awards on June 17, 2025. A well-deserved recognition for someone helping to transform the future of heart health.
