Technosphere inhaled insulin reduces postmeal glucose excursions

A recent study co-authored by GCDTR researchers has compared postprandial glucose excursions between inhaled technosphere insulin (TI) and subcutaneous rapid-acting analog (RAA) insulin in adults with type 1 diabetes. The findings reveal that TI offers better postmeal glucose control, with smaller glucose excursions, lower peak glucose levels, and a shorter time to peak glucose compared to RAA.

These results could have significant implications for improving diabetes management strategies. Explore the full study to learn more: lnkd.in/ebiWgPSE DiabetesResearch InsulinTherapy Endocrinology
